This was an experiment with solvent transfers from a few weeks ago. We got a new printer in the office and I decided to see what the strange new “solid ink” was capable of. This was produced with a photograph of a flower my father took and some small photoshop preparation. I then used solvents to transfer a sort of ghost image onto some heavy paper and proceeded to pick up the shadows and tones with watercolour and ink.
